Families also enjoy the Brazoria Natural Wildlife Refuge (11 miles) where you can watch for waterfowl, crawfish, and alligators.
If you want to feel the sand in your toes, visit Surfside Beach (16 miles) or drive the coast to Galveston Island (47 miles).

Angleton provides plenty of services with grocery stores such as Walmart and a large variety of restaurants, shops, and automotive retailers. Brazos Mall in Lake Jackson is located just seven miles away for additional shopping. There are also large plant expansions in nearby Freeport. Freeport is known for its great saltwater fishing and Surfside Beach. Select from a variety of fishing guides for a great day of bay or deep water fishing from one of the many reefs or oil platforms in the area.
